There are some moments in football, and sport in general that just baffle me that someone can play through such a pain barrier.
This is one of those moments.
I don’t think it will quite go down as iconic in the world of football as the Terry Butcher or Paul Ince photos but perhaps it will go down in Birmingham City folklore somewhat*. Kristian Pedersen got himself in a bit of a situation on the weekend after a bit of a coming together with Charlton’s Chuks Aneke, and he needed to go off and receive five stitches according to the club.
However such was his determination to come back and finish the game that he played on through the last ten minutes of the Charlton onslaught to help the side seal a fantastic 1-0 victory away from home.
That determination and willingness to fight for the shirt certainly wasn’t lost on these Birmingham City supporters, who took to Twitter to praise the big Dane for his efforts on the day.
Typical BLUES WARRIOR ????????

This is what Birmingham city fans want, we know we're not going to have world beaters in the team but someone willing to put everything on the line for the club is key ????

*Particularly if this turns out to be some sort of turning point in the season, the day that we finally kicked into gear.
