Blues To Run Rule Over Derbyshire?

Skysports.com are reporting this morning that Birmingham City could be interested in taking Olympiakos striker Matt Derbyshire on a season long loan.

Alex McLeish has just missed out on making a couple of signings for the club but is still working hard to bring in more fresh faces for the start of the season.

Derbyshire was a hit a Blackburn before making his move to Greece, he has now been here for two seasons but new coach Ernesto Valverde has informed Derbyshire he is prepared to loan out him as he does not figure in his plans for next season.

Derbyshire is expected to fly to England on Friday to hold talks with Blues about a move.
