If you believe what you read in the papers, then Steve Bruce is looking to take Curtis Davies to Hull City in the summer.

The ex-Blues boss thinks that he can get Blues player of the season for around £3million according to the Telegraph.

Davies has made no secret of his desire to play top flight football and Bruce feels that he could boost his career by moving up north to the KC Stadium after he has spent two and a half years at St Andrews.

The 28 year old is also said to be a target of Tony Pulis at Stoke City while another ex-Blues manager, Chris Hughton is also interested in taking him to Norwich.

The paper quotes Davies as saying: “I would never hide the fact that I want to play in the Premier League. I believe my ability should have me there, I believe I`m good enough.

“I have been in the team of the year for this division before twice. I don`t have anything left to prove in my opinion.’
