Blues Snap up Shinnie

Andrew Shinnie is to join Birmingham when his Inverness contract expires this summer.

AS, in case you haven`t seen much of him, this season has had a stormer. He plays pushing on from midfield and has bagged himself 15 goals on Inverness`s way to 3rd place, a great return from a midfield position. The only thing to bare in mind is playing up north isn`t as challenging as coming and playing in the Championship; that is probably why he has made the move.

The 23 year old has one cap to his name and scored 8 goals last season despite missing several months through injury.

So, what are your hopes for this new signing? he is only 23 but Blues seem to do well relying on younger players also there is no price tag, does that lower any expectations?
