Birmingham City have signed centre-back Aaron Martin on a short-term deal that will last until the end of the current season.
With Kyle Bartley and Dan Burn both now returned to their parent clubs, it left a big hole in the City defence, free agent Martin will go some way to plugging that hole.
The 24 year old was with Southampton but had his contract terminated on Tuesday, he had not made a first team appearance for the club since 2009.
But last season he did go out on loan to Coventry and has spent the first half of this season injured although he is now fully fit.
Chances are there will be more signings made before the transfer deadline tomorrow.
