Birmingham City completed the signing of Wes Thomas from Bournemouth on deadline day.
The 26 year old striker arrives at St Andrews on a loan deal that will last until the end of the season.
Thomas is no stranger to going out on loan, he has not long ago returned from a stint at Blackpool.
Blues manager Lee Clark was delighted to have signed the player that he has admired for some time.
He told the club’s official website: ‘I first became aware of Wes at Bournemouth when I was Huddersfield Town manager and I’ve always rated him highly.
‘He’s strong in possession, very quick, has an eye for goal and is capable of playing in a pair or as a lone front man.’
