Birmingham City are scouting across Europe in search of a solution to their goal scoring problems.
Money is available to spend in the January transfer window which promises to be a vital one for Blues who are battling against relegation once again.
The Birmingham Mail reported – ‘Director of football Jeff Vetere has also been scouting extensively in preparation for a key transfer window in Blues’ recent history. Blues will consider strikers from the European market come January with (Darren) Dein having strong connections in France and Spain’.
Blues have scored a lowly 10 goals in 20 league games this term and have lost Isaac Vassell for the rest of the season through injury. With Sam Gallagher often utilised as a wide player, Che Adams and Lukas Jutkiewicz are Blues’ only fit senior strikers.
