Blues say it again, Larsson stays

Birmingham City have said it once and now they are saying it again, Swedish international midfielder Sebastian Larsson is staying at St Andrews.

The press have had Larsson linked with clubs every other day since Birmingham dropped out of the Premier league.

But chairman David Gold said the player would only leave “over his dead body” and now the manager Alex McLeish has reiterated that Seb cannot go.

‘We’ll keep our best players and Seb certainly comes into that category,’ said McLeish.
