Birmingham City have reportedly turned down an approach for Club captain Michael Morrison, Vital Birmingham have learnt this evening.

The approach comes from fellow Sky Bet Championship side Norwich City but from what we understand, the club instantly rejected the approach but they are reportedly open to selling the central defender who moved to Blues in 2014 on a free from Charlton Athletic.

Since joining the club, Morrison has been an ever present at the back but with Harlee Dean and Marc Roberts stepping up in recent weeks and Morrison dropping down to the bench, he could now see himself struggling to get back into the team with results picking up.

With Morrison out the team, Blues have won all three games and they have also kept three clean sheets, their best run since October 2015.

We will have more on this should it develop further…
