Birmingham City have today let two young players go out on loan in the shape of Akwasi Asante and Jack Deaman.

Striker Asante has been out of action for some time due to a hamstring injury, but Shrewsbury Town are interested in his services and he has gone to try and help the league one outfit to try and remain there.

Defender Deaman will be going out for quite the reverse, he will be looking to help Cheltenham Town get into league one as the season comes to an end.

Blues manager Lee Clark said: ‘There’s only players going out because I`ve got five (senior) loan players already who at this moment in time are in my starting eleven and if not, right on the fringes of the starting eleven. So I`ve got no more room for any more.’
