Blues on the road

It will be another sold out away end this afternoon as 3,190 Blues fans head down to Loftus Road as Gary Rowett`s side take on QPR.

The fact that one whole stand will be occupied by Bluenoses will no doubt give the team a boost and, with the fans in good voice, they should be spurred on.

There has definitely been a correlation between the big away wins this season and the sold out away ends.

Back in early November, 4,000 Blues fans roared the team on to a 5-2 victory away at Fulham in what was a party atmosphere.

More recently, in the 3-0 success at Derby, the away end was once again sold out as the travelling 3,000 were treated by a perfect performance and a Maikel Kieftenbeld belter.

So those high numbers certainly get a response from the players to play well and enjoy their football a lot more.

Away tickets are selling like hot cakes at the moment with the previous three fixtures selling out at Derby, Bristol City and Rotherham.

We have, of course, sold the full allocation for today’s game at QPR and the fixture at Molineux to face Wolves in mid March has already sold out.

These away attendances will only keep getting better if the team keep picking up results so let’s hope they can continue it today and send the 3,190 home from West London in raptures.
