Birmingham City made it three 3-1 wins on the bounce after beating Crystal Palace at St Andrews on Saturday.

This late surge by Blues looks like it is going to leave the side in a play-off spot where they will take their chance with the other three on just who makes it to the Premier League.

It was Blues 55th game of the season but somehow they are pulling out performances like a side that had only played half that amount and after they had taken a 3-0 lead by the 32nd minute, the game was all over for the visitors.

Chris Burke opened the scoring after 21 minutes and Keith Fahey had that advantage doubled just a minute later.

Just after the hour mark David Murphy got his name on the scoresheet for the home side, then there was a little hope for the visitors when Owen Garvan pulled a goal back on the stroke of half time.

The visitors were able to settle after the break, but chances were few and far between.
