Birmingham City are at Bloomfield Road tonight to take on Blackpool for the first time since last season’s play-off semi final.

Much has changed since then including the matter of both clubs having a new manager; even so it would be nice if our season could be kicked off again with a bit of a revenge job.

Curtis Davies looks set to carry on after making his return to action on Saturday at Derby he will be in a back line that is set to be the same one that took to the field last time out.

Right-back Paul Caddis is back in full training after his shoulder injury, but he won’t be ready for this one from the start, but could be placed on the bench.

On-loan winger Robert Hall impressed when he came onto the field as a sub against Derby, whether this may persuade Lee Clark to give him a start or not remains to be seen.

Left-back David Murphy has been ruled out for the rest of the season with his knee problem while fellow full-back Stephen Carr is out for the foreseeable future, also with a knee problem.
