Birmingham City have unfortunately missed out on the signing of former Bristol City striker Jay Emmanuel Thomas after reports emerged that he has signed for recently relegated side Queens Park Rangers.

Emmanuel Thomas, also known as JET, was one of the first names to be linked with the Blues following their transformation under Gary Rowett but it now appears that they have missed out on securing his services.

No doubt QPR will have offered JET more money and this factor will have played a massive part but as all Blues fans know, money is something that is now a luxury at the club and only players who can be brought in on minimal budget will come through the door at St.Andrews.

However, despite missing out on Emmanuel Thomas, there are a lot more signings expected this summer as Rowett looks to put his own stamp on his inherited squad.

Blues fans, do you wish the club would have pressed harder to secure the services of JET or do you think there are better players out there? Let us know in the comment section below.
