German second tier side VFL Bochum are interested in signing Blues midfielder Robert Tesche.

The 30-year-old has been told he is free to leave St. Andrews this summer and the Bundesliga 2 club are in the hunt.

Tesche would prefer to remain in English football where he has been since signing for Nottingham Forest in 2014.

But Bochum are keen to bring the German midfielder to the club on a free transfer.

Tesche representatives have spoken to Bochum officials and the club are now considering their next move.

  • Didnt reproduce the sort of form he showed when on loan a couple of seasons ago, but then maybe we were so bad back then that he looked better than he is.
