Kenny Cunningham’s revelation about Blues chaotic season has rocked the Blues’ faithful. The Irishman’s revelations are no surprise to anyone but the source was a bit of a shock.
Kenny has given his all for Blues and in spite of the President saying that he earned millions from the club, he owes Blues nothing. Whatever he cost Kenny Cunningham was worth every penny. He was consistently high class in his performance and totally committed and professional.

As Blues captain it was always felt that he was Bruce’s right hand man. Bruce always stuck by him even when the old legs occasionally seemed to be tiring. Kenny always responded to that faith by recapturing his form. The ovation that he got as he left the field against Newcastle, sadly for the last time in Blues’ colours, showed the fans appreciation.

Apparently Kenny was alway’s at loggerheards with the Manager and wanted to pick the team. The fact that so many things were going wrong around him makes his dedication to the cause even more amazing.

David Sullivan has said although he dislikes Cunningham’s remarks he hopes some good will come of it. Too right!! If half of Kenny’s revelation’s are true the whole of the management team should be signing on this Thursday.

If Sullivan was a cute a businessman as he thinks he is he would give the manager’s job to Kenny and let him build the professional management team that the club requires.

It’s sad that Kenny’s expertise on and off the field will no longer be utilised by Birmingham City. He will need to be replaced, as Birmingham do not have defenders good enough for a promotion chasing team. The board will hope that the cheaper variety of defender will do. Sadly it wont. If the board do’t believe it then just ask Kenny!
