Blues in the hunt for Bastia defender

Birmingham City are showing interest in Bastia defender Alexander Djiku, according to French newspaper L’Equipe.

The Ligue 1 club are said to be considering the sale of the right-back due to their financial problems off-the-field.

Djiku, 22, is attracting interest from seven clubs including Premier League Crystal Palace and Championship rivals Fulham.

The player made 23 appearances last season and is reportedly available for between ?2-3m.
