According to Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock, Blues have made an offer for midfielder Ben Watson.

Palace have made no secret of the fact that they are willing to take offers for the player, who has just twelve months to run on his current contract.

And Birmingham are said to be one of the clubs who have made an offer for the 23 year old, but all bids so far have fallen short of Palace`s valuation of the player.

‘We’ve offered Ben the biggest contract at the club at the moment, but he and his agent have made it clear they won’t sign,’ Warnock told the South London Press.

‘QPR and Birmingham have made good offers, but they are short of our valuation.

‘We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.’
