According to the Daily Mirror this morning, Blues manager Alex McLeish has made an early move to try and capture Oldham’s exciting young left winger Chris Taylor with a £600,000 bid.
The paper reports that McLeish has approached the hard-up Latics about their 22- year-old home-grown star and is awaiting permission to go ahead with the move.
