According to BBC WM Sports via social media site Twitter, Birmingham City have seen a second bid for Sheffield United striker Che Adams.

Last week, Gary Rowett’s side saw an initial bid of £1.2 million rejected for the 20-year-old and just moments before the friendly against Port Vale on Wednesday, the Birmingham Mail revealed exclusively that the club had gone in with an improved offer.

The new and improved bid was believed to be around £1.7 million, with £400,000 in add-ons as well, but it now looks like the second bid has been turned away once again.

Blues are in desperate need of a goal scorer and with Adams now being identified as Rowett’s number one target, we expect Blues to go in with a third and final offer.

Should the new offer be rejected, then expect the club to move onto different targets.

The League One club value Adams at around £2 million and even though Blues’ offer would have eventually reached their valuation, they have decided to once again turn Blues away.
