Birmingham City have reportedly been handed a boost in their efforts to sign Dijon striker Lois Diony with Brighton and Hove Albion suggested to have turned their attentions to Chelsea striker Izzy Brown.

Sky Sports News are reporting that their sources understand that the Seagulls are interested in a move for them former Huddersfield Town loanee.

However, there are also reports that suggest that although there may be some interest in the 20-year-old striker, there isn’t a move on the cards just yet.

Earlier in the window, Brighton had been credited with an interest in Diony, a top transfer target of Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp, but they now seem to have turned their attentions to signing Brown on a season-long loan.
