Last week’s flurry of transfer activity has bought the number of new arrivals to seven, but the total sum spent so far by the Board is still just over £8m (excluding any add-ons).
Midfielder Kapo has been the most expensive player bought in so far, netting Juventus a fee of £3m for his services.
Although Fabrice Muamba’s eventual fee might top the £4m mark if all the add-on clauses are activated, the base fee to acquire him from Arsenal was £2.5m.

Clemence and DJ Campbell’s futures are by no means certain, although inmost fans’ opinions it would be a waste to move on either of these players.
As David Sullivan was quoted recently as saying that July would be the main focus of transfer activity, more news in the near future seems certain.
