This game is another no-winner for Blues. If they win then they face a tough sixth round tie somewhere which without a full squad, could mean disaster. If they lose the crisis of comfidence and loss of interest from some players who, wihout possible Cup glory, might see Blues season and their careers with them, over.

The powers that be have deprived us of Damian Johnson and Emile Heskey for the last few games and they will return.
Injury wise they are only lacking Upson, Tebily, Lazaridis, Nafti,Dunne, and Kilkenny. Campbell is Cup tied and Bruce, on five yellows (4 with Tranmere)is suspended.

If you add Till, Hall, Doyle and Kuqi out on loan then that still, is a full team not available to Blues.

Stoke are without their main strike force of Sambegou Bangoura and Mamadou Sidibe. This should mean that what ever Blues put out as a back line should cope.

The front line need to get goals and at a venue where our only competetive game ended 7-0 in our favour can Heskey Sutton and Forssell fail where Furlong and Forster ran riot?
