Formation – 4-4-2

Maik Taylor (GK) Northern Ireland
Taylor joined Blues in 2003 from Fulham, initially in a loan deal. His time at Blues lasted eight years in which time he was crowned ‘goalkeeper of the season` in the Premier League. Taylor was capped 88 times by Northern Ireland.

Malcolm Page (RB) Wales
Page began his career at Blues in 1964 and is one of the most popular players ever to wear the royal blue jersey. The traditional wing-half was capped by Wales on 28 occasions.

Martin Jiranek (CB) Czech Republic
The defender joined Blues in 2010 from Spartak Moscow and was part of the 2011 Carling Cup winning team. Jiranek was capped by Czech Republic 31 times.

Kenny Cunningham (CB) Republic of Ireland
King Kenny joined Blues from Wimbledon in 2002 and made 134 appearances over four years. During his carrer, he was capped by Republic of Ireland on 72 occasions.

Franck Queuedrue (LB) France
The Frenchman joined Blues from Fulham in 2007 and won the player of the season award once. He was never capped by France at senior level despite being selected for the squad on several occasions.

Seb Larsson (RM) Sweden
Everyone`s favourite Swede, Seb Larsson, signed for Blues in 2006 from Arsenal, initially on loan. He became a hit with the fans in his 157 appearances for the club and was capped by Sweden on 87 occasions. He featured in Euro 2016.

Olivier Kapo (CAM) France
Kapo`s time at Blues was short lived. He signed from Juventus in 2007 and left for Wigan a year later after Blues` relegation to the Championship. It is generally thought that Blues fans didn`t get to see him at his best. Kapo has nine France caps to his name.

Michel (CDM) Spain
When Alex McLeish tried to introduce a little flare into the Blues team, Michel was signed from Spanish side Sporting Gijon. Unfortunately, Michel never settled in England and made only nine appearances for Blues. He was never capped for Spain despite a promising start to his career.

Jose Dominguez (LM) Portugal
Portuguese wing wizard Jose Dominguez was signed by Barry Fry in 1994 from Benfica. In his solitary season at Blues, he became a favourite with the fans, helping the club achieve promotion to Division One (now the Championship) and win the Auto Windscreens Shield. Dominguez has three Portugal caps under his belt.

Ken Leek (CF) Wales
Leek was drafted in from Newcastle United in 1961 and went on to score 49 times in 104 appearances for Blues. He was capped 13 times for Wales.

Christophe Dugarry (CF) France
Arguably the most technically gifted footballer ever to play for Blues. Unarguably the only ever World Cup winner to play for Blues. Signing Dugarry was a Steve Bruce masterstroke, signing him from Bordeaux, initially on loan. Despite only playing 30 games for Blues, Dugarry put in some jaw dropping performances. He was capped 55 times for France and won the World Cup (1998) European Championships (2000) and the Confederations Cup (2001). He also represented Barcelona.
