Birmingham City’s attacking duo Clayton Donaldson and Jacques Maghoma have been handed call ups by their respective countries, the clubs official social media site has confirmed.

Donaldson, who has been a mainstay in the clubs first team since his arrival from Brentford last summer, earns his first call up for Jamaica, having only made international appearances for England National Game XI in 2006/2007.

Following some fantastic performances for the club, the former Bee’s striker has finally been rewarded by his nation and he looks set to face both Panama and Haiti in November.

Joining Donaldson on international duty, Maghoma is set to join up with Congo DR during the same international break.

Congo DR are set to take on Burundi twice over the break, with the first game taking place on the 8th of next month and the return fixture being played on the 16th.

It has not yet been made clear whether Maghoma will be made available to his country for the first game, with it being just a day after Gary Rowett’s men travel to Fulham in the Sky Bet Championship.
