Jack Butland looks set to miss Blues FA Cup replay against Leeds United on Tuesday to avoid getting cup-tied.

The Blues stopper will be worth more to City if he can play for his new side in the FA Cup and that is something that the club cannot overlook with money so tight at the moment.

If Blues sell Butland, it may keep the club from going into administration and they have Kevin Doyle to fall back on.

The Blues rejected £6 million from Southampton in the summer but would now be prepared to accept a similar offer, with the promise of further instalments taking the deal to around £8 million.
