Birmingham City are going to open talks with Guy Moussi about moving to the club in the coming week.
Blues are looking for another central midfielder to sure up the numbers in the centre and add a more physical element to their play.
Moussi has already completed one spell with Birmingham and has returned for another, suggesting that he is keen to make the move to the Midlands if it is possible.
Blues now need to consider whether they can match the financial requirements of the player balanced against what they may want to spend on other areas of the team later on in the season.
It seems that Rowett is carefully working out what money he needs in which areas of the team.
We will have to wait and see to what the manager wants at this point in the season. The signing is a difficult one to predict, it seems the player is eager but Blues boss Rowett is remaining careful and calculated.
