Following the financial turmoil going on at Birmingham, it is difficult times ahead for Blues. Key players are set to be sold (Curtis Davies) as the club turns to its infrastructure to help see it through these short staffed times.

Lee Clark has been speaking to the Birmingham Mail and telling them how last season strengthened him as a manager and having learnt a lot over the past season he feels he is better placed to lead Blues through the night and into brighter days.

The manager took the opportunity to admit that over the season mistakes were made, possibly hinting at reasons for the bizarre inconsistency between results during the season, insisting that everyone at the club takes collective responsibility for the mistakes made and that they are all in it together.

Lee Clark is trying to create a feeling of togetherness at the club which has favored many other clubs in the past, United, Inter Milan, Chelsea but to name a few. It is true that we are always stronger together and for it to work the fans need to be fully on board to. For the club to survive it must be US against THEM, us – being the fans, the staff and playing staff, them – being the owners, finances and other nay sayer’s who plan to disrupt the club.

Lee Clark may still be developing as a manager but I think Pannu did us a huge favor with his managerial appointments.
