Birmingham boss Alex McLeish Does not want his side sitting back now they have reached the 40 point mark in the Premiership, he wants them to go on and reach at least 50.

Blues hit 40 points on Saturday when they beat Wigan 1-0, that is the benchmark set for staying up, but McLeish wants his side to go from strength to strength.

He said: “It`s a tremendous feat, but we`re just trying to get as many points as we can. We`re going to keep going and try to get to the 50-point mark – why not?”
