Birmingham City have made an offer to Wigan Athletic for winger Charles N’Zogbia and that offer has been turned down according to the player`s agent.
There have been reports of a £8 million offer being tabled for the 23 year old, but Wigan feel the offer falls short of a true valuation for the player.
His agent, Franck Peslerbe, is of the opinion that N`Zogbia is interested in a move to St Andrews but Blues will have to up their bid.
Peslerbe told skysports.com: ‘Birmingham have made a bid for Charles and Wigan have turned it down.
‘There are also some other English sides apart from Birmingham interested in Charles.
‘Charles is currently away on holidays but I am in discussions with Wigan.
‘Everything depends on Wigan and if they accept a bid then things can go forward.
‘If it was a good solution for Wigan and a good project for Charles then something might happen
‘Wigan have a figure they expect for Charles and we will see if anyone meets that.’
