Birmingham Teenager Shows His Quality With Classy Goal In Training

|

Odin Bailey could be in with a shout of playing a few first team games this season, considering the club’s lack of options in attacking areas, and he is certainly doing his best to impress his manager during training.

The club’s official Twitter account shared a clip of the 18-year-old chipping the ball with his left foot into the top right-hand corner of the goal:

Garry Monk is clearly a fan of Odin. Back in late March, he named him on the bench for the 1-0 home win against Ipswich Town. Although he is still yet to make his senior debut, the boy certainly looks like he could make an impact in the first team.

A player who can play either as an attacking midfielder or on the wing, I can see him being given opportunities due to our lack of depth in the final third of the pitch. What do you think? Will Bailey be given first-team opportunities next season? Let me know in the poll:
