Birmingham Striker Set To Stay After Talks Over Exit Break Down

|

Nicolai Brock-Madsen will be returning to the club rather than remaining at Cracovia Krakow where he spent the second half of last season.

The Birmingham Mail reports that talks have broken down between the Polish side and the Blues about extending the Danish forward’s stay.

Brock-Madsen wasn’t exactly a regular for Cracovia last season with 11 appearances and just two starts yielding a single goal.

In his eight games since his arrival from Randers in 2015, the former Denmark Under 21 international hasn’t managed to score and his last appearance for us came all the way back in December 2015.

The 25-year-old will likely be part of Garry Monk’s training squad for pre-season, along with a number of other players coming back from loan spells. It would be an unlikely comeback if he did force himself back into the first-team after two spells away from St Andrew’s.

He will be hoping though that a new manager will provide him with another chance to revive his career at the club.
