Grant Hall has returned to parent club Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent.
The defender had been unable to break into the first team with David Edgar being the preferred back up to Paul Robinson and Michael Morrison.
Hall has returned with immediate effect and will now look to venture back out on loan to another club during the window.
The original loan was supposed to last for the whole season, with Spurs being unable to recall the player. A deal put in place by Lee Clark.
Grant Hall is thought to have a decent career ahead of him after impressing in League One in earlier loan spells.
He made 7 appearances for Birmingham City.
