The club are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Joshua Da Silva on loan, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 19-year-old has been with the Gunners for over a decade after joining the youth setup at the age of eight. He has risen through the Premier League side’s youth ranks, and he is currently a regular in the club’s under 23 side.
Da Silva also made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup under Arsene Wenger last season. He came on as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in the third round before making cameo appearances in the fourth round against Norwich and in the quarter-final versus West Ham.
The teenager also has experience beyond domestic football. In addition to being named in the matchday squad for three Europa League games last campaign, he has also become a regular for England at Under 20 level. He generally plays as a holding midfield player, but he has also been utilised as a left-back.
