Local grass roots football clubs will be able to sell tickets to Birmingham City home games and keep 50% of the cash to help support the clubs.
The tickets will be priced at £10 for adults; £5 for 13-18 year olds and £3 for under 13s. 50 per cent of the money will remain with the selling clubs to help with their running costs.
The club see it as an opportunity to lower prices and bring in a new generation of supporters to the club who will be coming into the game from other local clubs.
The last time Blues sold tickets at near this price was Gary Rowett’s first game in charge which saw a bumper crowd.
Blues have a great track record in already helping local clubs, they put on training for local coaches and players to help the surrounding area.
The initiative is to begin right away and the club are going to be rolling it out massively for the Rotherham game in April.
All fans have to do is purchase tickets from their local grass roots club and they will be able to recieve a discounting ticket. Surely all fans will be looking to find these deals at their local clubs.
