Birmingham In Three Team Tussle For £3m Rated Scottish International

|

We are interested in signing Hibernian playmaker John McGinn, according to the Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

There are, however, a number of teams that are pursuing the Scottish international with Derby County and Celtic also monitoring the player.

Rams boss Frank Lampard is reportedly prepared to pay £3m for the 23-year-old but it is believed a move to the Scottish champions is the likeliest possibility at the moment.

The Daily Record reported earlier this month that Hibs have set an asking price of £5m for the midfielder so it will be interesting to see whether we do make a move for him. They also reported at the time that Villa, Rangers and West Ham were keen on the player.

McGinn would be a perfect fit for what we are looking for. He plays in central midfield, but he can both score and create goals. Last season in the Scottish Premiership, he made 30 appearances, scoring five goals and providing four assists.
