Word On The Tweet

Birmingham Director Hints At “Positive News” On the Horizon For Club

|

Club director Edward Cheng has taken to Twitter to hint that there is some “positive news” on the horizon for the club.

He hasn’t tweeted himself since the win against Fulham on May 6th, but early this evening, he has suggested there may have been a breakthrough of some sort:

I am not getting my hopes up just yet. We are all probably thinking the same thing that the embargo on the club has been lifted but we will have to wait for confirmation on the club website.

If the transfer ban has been removed then it would come in the nick of time for Garry Monk. There are barely eight days to go before the end of the transfer window, and there is so much work to do on the transfer front.

Saying that however, Cheng’s tweet could simply be that they’ve finally managed to get Kristian Pedersen registered. Let’s hope this is the news we’ve all been waiting for.
