Teenage defender Mitch Hancox has been sent out on loan to League Two side Crawley Town, the club have confirmed via their official website.

Hancox, who has found starts hard to come by since the arrival of Jonathan Grounds last summer, heads to the Broadfield stadium on a one month loan deal.

Manager Mark Yates will be looking to throw the young left back straight into first team action when Town play Plymouth Argyle away on Saturday.

The League Two outfit currently sit fourth from bottom in the lowest tier of English football and only have eight points to their name.

Following only their second win of the season on Tuesday night, Yates side will be heading to Argyle full of confidence and will be looking to cause an upset on the road.

Blues fans, what do you make of this deal? Is it a good one for the youngster and the club? Let us know in the comment section down below!
