The Blues have been linked with a move for German teenage striker Tugay Gündogan, according to reports in the German press.

At the age of 19, the forward is one of the best young talents in the German leagues and he currently plays for Osnabruck and he scored five goals during last season as well as setting up 13 goals for his team mates in the Oberliga Niedersachsen last season as he played for the side’s second team.

Seen as a fast rising star in Germany, Gündogan holds two passports, both Turkish and German so being granted a work permit might one of the stumbling blocks in the move but the Blues are hopeful that they can sort that out without anything going wrong.

As well as being linked with Gary Rowett’s side, the teenage sensation is also a reported target of Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. Similar to the teenager, his team mate Deniz Taskesen has also been linked with a move to PSV. Taskesen is currently 22 years old and plays alongside Gündogan for Osnabruck.
