The Women’s Super League is a summer league so currently players are in their off season, preparing hard for their upcoming games. The Birmingham City Ladies first game is away to Liverpool Ladies who are always title contenders due to their ability to pay players to play full time. This will take place late in March.

In order to make several announcements and keep supporters updated on what has happened in the off season as well as what will take place in the future, the club has invited fans to come to an evening with the Ladies. This will be at St Andrews in the luxurious Legends’ Lounge on the 7th of March which is a Monday. The event starts at 7pm.

The first of many attractions for the night, is that the shirt sponsor will be announced. This is always an indicator to how the shirt will look but also shows who is willing to invest in such a brilliant team. A short speech will be made by all involved in this which is a great way to see how the club is ran behind the scenes.

Now, on that day, the new kit will be released to the press where you can see how the home and away kits will look that season. But by coming to the event, you can not only see it in person, but also pre-order the kit straight away. You will also see who will be wearing the armband as the new club captain will be revealed following the departure of likely candidates Carney and Spencer. This decision will be made by David Parker who will be on hand to answer any question in his Q&A session.

Blues Ladies` CEO Tim Andrews will host the evening and will include a balti meal and complimentary bottle of Heineken.

Tickets for the event are just £15 so if you are interested, they are selling them on the official website.
