Birmingham City have this evening been linked with a move for Saint-Etienne striker Dylan Saint-Louis, according to getwestlondon.com.

The website states that Queens Park Rangers have entered the race for the striker, who spent last season on loan at French Ligue Two side Stade Laval, but that the Hoops face competition from two fellow Sky Bet Championship sides.

As well as Blues being credited with an interest, it is also believed that Norwich City are thought to be in the running for the 22-year-old, who score seven goals during his spell with Laval last year.

Blues have previously been linked with a host of names from the French Leagues, including Dijon striker Lois Diony, but at £9 million, they could well be priced out of a move for the France hotshot.

However, at a more affordable price of £525,000, the Conogolese forward could well come under the consideration of Harry Redknapp should he lose out on Diony.
