What?s the Problem Blues?

Tonight Blues take on the European Champions for a place in the FA cup semi final. That?s another game which would mean a re-jigging of the fixture list because Blues are due at Everton that week, hopefully with a chance of saving themselves from relegation.

In order to bring off this shock they will have to do without Campbell (cup tied) , Chris Sutton, Mehdi Nafti, David Dunn, Nicky Butt, Julian Gray, Jiri Jaroksik, and Emil Heskey. 29,000 fans are dutifully turning up and if they don?t actually boo their own and arguably their best players they may be Blues biggest asset.

Liverpool gets the yips against us. I believe that Robby Fowler who regularly scores against us will be their main danger. The mighty atom Damien Johnson will shackle Gerrard again, as long as he?s allowed to stay on the field.

Working against us is the fact the sponsors and the BBC desperately want a Liverpool Chelsea final. Rob Styles is the ref and well Rob Styles is the Ref..

If the game doesn?t go their way the skivers and divers will come to the fore. Blues only hope of scoring is Forssell (pen). Can anyone remember the last penalty Liverpool conceded?

If the ?these things balance? out theorists have their way then Blues will win tonight and take six points from Manchester United and Chelsea. Trouble is these things don?t even out. Some teams always get things going their way other just gets dumped on.

What ever these teams do to us in the next ten days the effect will not be as hurtful as the shafting by the Tory Liberal allies on the council. Their decision was anti democratic, anti Birmingham and tyranny of the highest order. What ever the result tonight their action was more damaging to the City of Birmingham and its football club than the Luftwaffe managed in over 1000 nights of bombing.
