Birmingham City are waiting to have a look at Gavin Gunning`s knee to find out the extent of the injury he picked up against Cambridge United on Tuesday.
Gunning has some form of knee injury following keeper Colin Doyle landing on him whilst punching clear.
Lee Clark explained that Gunning was a tough guy, so him coming off the pitch tells you it was somewhat concerning.
Birmingham have been unable to assess the injury until today, that could be a 48 hour period waiting for any swelling to go down.
It looks like Gunning will not make Saturday`s game against Brighton and Hove Albion. Blues are left with Jonathan Grounds, David Edgar, Paul Robinson, Grant Hall and Jonathan Spector to fill in at the heart of defence.
