According to reports in Turkey, Birmingham City are on the verge of signing Besiktas winger Kerim Freifor a fee of 2.5 million euros.

The report suggests that Blues have already agreed the fee for the 23-year-old and that he is ready to make the move to the Championship side.

Blues manager Gianfranco Zola secured his third signing of the January transfer window on Wednesday evening as Emilio Nsue signed for the club for an initial fee of £1 million from Premier League side Middlesbrough and now it looks like he is ready to add yet another player to his squad.

Along with Nsue, Craig Gardner and Lukas Jutkiewicz have also signed for the club with Virtus Entella left back Cheick Keita also expected to be announced as a Birmingham City player before this weekends game against Blackburn Rovers.

  • Not sure about this one. Likes to dribble and passes the ball well but isnt a good crosser and doesn’t score many goals. IMO wingers should be getting 6 + goals a season and at least the same in assists. Maybe Zola can get more out of him as he is still only 23.

  • Very good dribbler. I remember him at Fulham. Wasn’t the finished article – crossing and shooting left a lot to be desired. Hopefully improved
