Bendtner Puts Blues First

Makes a nice change after his earlier outbursts doesn’t it!

It’s probably some attempt at making up for the earlier outburst where he announced he would only go back to Arsenal if he could at least get on the bench as he thought he was better than Blues and deserved to be their first team.

Speaking to the local press Bendter has now said that personal glory comes a distant second and that the team need to get back to winning ways.

‘I’m very happy for myself with the way it has gone at Birmingham, but I’m concerned more about the team now.

‘We need to get back winning games and get up top of the league. I am not thinking about anything else.

‘My leg is fine, my recovery has been good, I have been out now for 14 days, which is how long I thought I was going to be.

‘It’s an important game for us on Saturday. We need a win – and I’m sure we can get it.’
