Birmingham’s U21 team came from a goal down to win comfortably at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
The young team are on an impressive run of six straight wins in the league and cup.
Peter Lovenkrands, Darren Ambrose and Scott Allan were the senior players involved.
Lovenkrands got himself two goals in the game. Liam Truslove rounded off the scoring with his sixth goal in as many games.

“The lads got themselves going and showed good character to come back and in the end it was comfortable 3-1 victory and we should have won by a few more goals.’
“Charlee Adams was excellent at centre-back alongside Nat Kelly and Liam Truslove put in another good performance and scored again.”
