Barnsley Want To Extend O’Connor Loan Spell

Barnsley manager Mark Robins wants to keep on loan Garry O`Connor for a while longer.

O’Connor went to Oakwell at the beginning of last month and has played in all the four games he was available for and finding the net once.

Robins said: ‘That’s Garry’s last game because his loan’s up on October 7, so that’ll be up so it’s whether I go and do that or we look to do something different.

‘I need to speak to the owner about that and see what he wants to do, but from my point of view it’s become a little bit clearer for me and hopefully we can work during the international break to getting a result against Nottingham Forest next time out.’
