Birmingham City have signed Olly Lee from League Two outfit Barnet until the end of the current season.

The midfielder has been on trial with City for the last couple of months and has impressed manager Lee Clark whose side have suffered their fair share of injury problems of late.

The 21 year old started his career at West Ham United where he played reserve team football before making a few loan stretches at Dagenham and Redbridge and also Gillingham.

He then moved from the Hammers to Barnet in the summer of 2012 and has made 13 appearances. Whilst on trial for Blues, he made a couple of appearances for the under 21 side.

‘Olly was one of Barnet’s standout performers against us in the Capital One Cup earlier this season,’ Clark told the club’s official website.

‘He’s impressed us during his trial and we look forward to seeing him develop.’
