‘Bad day at the office’: How City’s game v Nottingham Forest played out on Twitter

|

Well, there goes the undefeated season.

Looks like we can’t all be the Arsenal Invincibles, can we? Although..

Birmingham lost their first league game of the campaign as they fell 3-0 to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

It was a day where hardly anything went right for the Blues, and they found themselves behind after 15 minutes as Joe Lolley struck from outside the area and it looked as if one person in particular was taking the blame for it going in.

What makes it even worse? Joe Lolley just happens to be a Villa fan.

And things went from bad to worse a few minutes later as the hosts doubled their lead through Lewis Grabban.

Then the third goal went in, and it wasn’t exactly pretty. You know it’s not your day when someone who hasn’t scored for the club in nearly 15 years (alright he was away for some of them, but still) manages to find the back of the net against you.

The Blues failed to create any clear cut chances and 3-0 was how the game finished. Thankfully with a game coming up this Tuesday against Barnsley, we can quickly move on from this game and focus on the next one. Get it out of the system ASAP.
