Koby Arthur has explained that he is very thankful to departed manager Lee Clark and is determined to make him proud following his exposure to the first team this season.

Arthur has made his debut off the bench at the end of Clark’s first season in charge but could not keep up the heat on the first team.

It was his recent loan spell at Cheltenham that propelled him back into the reckoning at Birmingham and he is determined to progress even further.

Arthur went as far as saying that Lee Clark was the start of his football career and he has promised to make him proud one day. A very high level of praise for the former manager.

It is clear to see what effect Clark had with young players and their development, which in a way always suited Birmingham. Indeed worked remarkably well with young Bartley and Burn when they were at the club as well.

Arthur will be hoping to be involved at Wolves this weekend as he has one weeks worth of training to show Gary Rowett just why so many people are interested in his development here.
